As a quick primer, CDPR had promised both its fan base and consumers that it would release the Cyberpunk 2077 for next-gen consoles in 2022. This, by the way, was after a delay and push back on the original launch window, which was supposed to be sometime at the end of last year. Be that as it may, the studio has clearly followed through and kept its word and with the game’s availability on the new consoles comes several new updates in the form of the long-awaited patch 1.5. The list is, unsurprisingly, long, but CDPR has been more than kind enough to provide us with a quick overview of what all the platforms will be receiving across the board. Chief among which are new weapons, new apartments for V, a hairdressing mirror, and above all else, a rebalancing of the title’s gameplay, economy and loot system. For the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, the patch also includes ray-tracing local shadows and a plethora of “visual quality improvements”. Because the list is so long, we won’t list out all the improvements, tweaks, and fixes here, but you can read them for yourself via the official Cyberpunk 2077 news page that we’ve provided in the source link.
