According to a report by ESPN, there will be six gold medals up for grabs through eSports. Two of them will be awarded through console gaming while two more will go to PC, and the additional two gold medals are meant for mobile. To be accredited by the Asian Electronic Sports Federation, only one title – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – has been confirmed as one of the official games for the event. ESPN stated that other titles will likely to be revealed by 15 December. At the same time, the organizing committee has also announced that Razer is the official eSports partner for SEA Games 2019. The event is one of several eSports development efforts that the company has embarked throughout the region which also includes a multi-million investment in Malaysia. Razer has yet to provide in-depth details regarding its official involvement in SEA Games 2019 but knowing the company, expect to hear big plans from it very soon.
