A prominent one among them is The Last Stand extended campaign, which adds a story mission based on the Lighthouse survival map. Speaking of survival maps, there are 26 new ones too. And naturally, there’s an extended list of bug fixes as well. Left 4 Dead 2 was released all the way back in 2009, making it nearly 11 years old. But despite being such an old game, it’s had a continuous following from its loyal community. So much so, in fact, that it has had an average of 10000 players every month. With the new update, there will probably be a spike of players returning to check out the new content drop. The Last Stand Update for Left 4 Dead 2 is already available, according to its launch trailer. And it launched at the perfect time.
