The rumour comes by way of the popular PC hardware leakster site, Videocardz. According to the site, NVIDIA could launch an RTX 3080 20GB and an RTX 3070 16GB in the month of December. It’s an interesting bit of news for the latter GPU, considering that it still isn’t officially available, and has had its launch date pushed back from 15 October to 29 October.

It’s also likely that the RTX 3070 16GB may be the card with the code “PG142 SKU 0”; a supposed RTX 3070 Ti or “Super” variant featured in a leaked GALAX roadmap photo that made its way online last month. On another note, it is also being said that NVIDIA’s alleged GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will has been delayed, but should be out and about sometime during the middle of next month. It’s a pretty optimistic launch window, especially given the GPU brand’s ongoing struggles with bots and sleazy resellers that snatch up the cards, the very second they become available.

The launch of such cards can also be interpreted as NVIDIA trying to give its rival, AMD, a run for its money. Come 28 October, the company will be launching its Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card with their RDNA2 GPUs. (Source: Videocardz, Techradar)
