Naturally, Sony didn’t reveal much inside the event’s announcement post today for obvious reason. However, the company did say that the event will not only involve PS5 launch titles but also games that are coming to the market at a much later time.
The titles that will be featured at the special showcase will come from Sony’s own PlayStation Studios and third-party developers. Sony also revealed that the event will be around 40 minutes long which should be enough time to fit plenty of games. Meanwhile, there have been chatters within the scene who believe that Sony will announce the pricing and release date for PS5 during 16 September since Microsoft has done so for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. However, the announcement today provides no signs of that though but we are sure many hopeful PlayStation fans in Malaysia will still tune in to the event despite the odd timing.
