The V25 Pro gets a bigger 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2376×1080 and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. While the standard V25 and V25e have flat displays, the Pro variant sports curved edges, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will ship with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12. The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with the phone being able to convert 8GB of unused storage into additional virtual RAM. It has dual-SIM card support, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi support, and NFC. The rear camera setup is exactly the same as its vanilla counterpart, using a 64MP main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, vivo has made the strange choice of downgrading the V25 Pro’s camera to 32MP whereas the standard model has a 50MP sensor, though it maintains the selfie camera’s autofocus ability. The V25 Pro gets a significantly bigger 4,830mAh battery, up from only a 4,500mAh capacity. The wired charging speed also gains a boost with support for 66W charging, which the brand claims can charge the phone from empty to 40% in 15 minutes. The pricing of the vivo V25 Pro won’t be revealed until its launch on 20 September, but we can expect the price to be in the RM2,000 range as even the standard V25 carries a price tag of RM1,799. It will be available in Starlight Black and Surfing Blue, with the latter featuring colour-changing technology. (Source: vivo)
