The original version of the app was released right after Microsoft officially unveiled Windows 11 to the world back in June. However, it was then pulled out after users criticised it for not providing in-depth information for machines that didn’t meet the requirements. This is essentially critical, as the system requirements for Windows 11 are much higher than its predecessors. Not only that, Microsoft has also made TPM 2.0 mandatory for the new operating system which also has its own list of supported processors. In the new version, the PC Health Check app displays all the individual requirements together with users’ hardware parameters. If their system did not meet a particular requirement, the app would then show users what exactly the issue was and does provide recommendations on how to fix it. Of course, there is no easy fix if the processor in your system is not part of Windows 11’s compatibility list. You can still install the operating system into your machine via the ISO method but it may not be able to receive critical updates in the future.
